EU Regulation 1059/2010 dishwasher labels.

According to EU Regulation 1059/2010 all dishwashers on sale in the European Community must be accompanied by an energy efficiency label. Here are two examples:

Since dishwashers consume are noticeable proportion of domestic power it is a good idea to let consumers know if the dishwasher they are buying is high or low efficiency. It is clear from the two labels above that though the first is slightly louder (25db vs 23db) in all other numbers the first has a higher efficiency.
